Division of Student Affairs

Helping students navigate the Berkeley experience

The Division of Student Affairs supports students through their development at Berkeley and prepares them for engaging in a complex world. We help academically distinguished young people navigate a path to Berkeley, guide them through virtually all aspects of campus life, and provide critical financial support to the many thousands with financial need. Our Campaign priorities include a $300 million endowment goal for the Berkeley Undergraduate Scholarship Fund, and a $150 million goal in support of programs designed to enhance the student experience. These include a major effort to revitalize the heart of campus around Sproul Plaza; fostering students’: leadership development and civic engagement through the Office of Campus Life and Leadership; the Career Center, which helps students prepare for the professional world and graduate school; and programs centered in our Residence Halls, which build community in 24/7 living-learning environments.
